Scott Fraser, Minister of Worshiip and Music |
Scott has been in active ministry for 20 years and joined the ministry team at Heritage Hills Baptist Church in April of 2007. Before coming to Heritage Hills, Scott served as Minister of Music for eight years at Calvary Baptist Church in Beaumont, Texas. He is a graduate of Mississippi State University, receiving a Bachelor’s of Music Education. He also is a graduate of New England Conservatory of Music where he received a Master’s of Music and New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary where he received a Master’s of Religious Education.
Scott and his wife have been married for 19 years and have been blessed with twin sons. The family does everything together. They home school, play tennis, watch all kind of sports, travel, work in the yard, and do family history.
Scott believes that music ministry at any church exists to glorify God and to invite others to seek God whole heartedly. “Worship is not about us, it’s all about HIM.” The Word of God, in Isaiah 26:8, says “Yes, Lord, walking in the way of your laws, we wait for you; your name and renown are the desire of our hearts.” Let this be said of all of us. |
